Welcome to Year 3/4!

In the Spring term our topic is Vikings. We will be using atlases and the internet to find out where the Vikings came from. We will be developing a chronological knowledge and understanding of different Viking raids. Using a range of sources of evidence will we develop our knowledge and understanding of how Vikings lived and worked. As historians we will also using an enquiry approach to find out some Viking gods and what they represent.

In English we will be building on what we have learnt before and further develop the grammar, vocabulary and the structure of our writing. Over the term we will have range of reasons to write for different audiences and purposes.

Thank you all pupils and parents who continue to bring home learning projects about our science, history and geography topics. This is fabulous and we are loving sharing our wonderful creations with each other!
